Nova Scotia Farmers Markets

back to Farming9

Founded in 2004, Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia is a non-profit cooperative of farmers’ markets, for farmers’ markets.

With over 40 unique members across the province, the cooperative is the unified voice of our region’s farmers’ market sector.

Farmers’ markets exist to develop the capacity of communities to support individuals and small enterprises that grow, make, and/or bake goods and products for local consumption. We are transparent and accountable for that focus.” (Farmers Markets of Nova Scotia)

Find a market near you and support local farmers, bakers and small-scale producers and businesses.

The cooperative’s website is full of information, recipes, educative programs, support for markets and market organisers and an interactive map with individual market information. Check out the website here.
